Eric Trump seems to think a big crypto announcement is coming Friday.

We've been hearing whispers since Trump was on the campaign trail. The possibility of some kind of crypto tax break should he be elected. Some of the rumors suggested that the tax break would only be for "American" crypto token, like SOL, XRP and ADA. Others said that the break would be a one time only deal.

This evening, unverified news on X has been spreading like your Mom on prom night. The word on the interwebs is that President Trump is about to remove long term capital gains tax from all tokens. The news supposedly is coming out of Eric Trump's Discord Channel.

Big if true, but we have our doubts. I'm certainly not an expert, but I believe this type of a move would require an act of Congress, not an executive order from the desk of the President. So what gives? Is Eric Trump a troll? Is he trying to pump his bags? Or is he actually in the know and the Donald has the votes in Congress to make this crypto wet dream a reality.
